One of the most important point to know when you are in a weight loss program is the number of calories burned in a day.  Appropriately, it should be remembered that in order to lose weight, caloric intake should now exceed the amount of calories that you burn.  This plays an important role in losing weight.

One of your body’s greatest gift is its ability to utilize calories throughout the day.  In order for you to do your work throughout the day, your system needs energy.  Research have shown that a person can utilize nearly 2,000 calories on a single day.  You may have tried but did not succeed and now you are more determined to lose weight, then you need to keep a log of the number of the calories you burn in a day.  Let me tell you why…

The Rasal Metabolic Rate (RMR) is the total number of calories that you burn in a day when you are at rest.  You have to determine your RMR before you commit yourself into any weight loss program.  There are many health related websites that can assist in calculating that number.  If your goal is to maintain your weight, you can consume calories equivalent to your RMR.

Physical activities are categorized into light, moderate and heavy.

Walking, gardening and household chores fall under light workouts.  The amount of calories burned by performing such activities is around 4 calories per minute.

In moderate workouts such as aerobics, light weight training, cycling, your body can burn around 6 calories per minute.

Activities such as power walking, high intensity training, high impact sports, hardcore mountain biking and heavy lifting fall under heavy workouts and each can utilize about 10 calories per minute.

Losing weight here is simple in terms of technique as you will just add the number of calories burned in a day to your personal RMR and use it as your guide.  The calories that you consume in that day needs to be lower than the newly calculated (RMR plus calories burned) number.

Acne is a problem that annoys those that suffer from it.  It is one of those annoying situations that just won’t heal on its own and will take some effort from the person to make sure that it goes away.

The sooner it is addressed the better it will be.  We all have different make up to our bodies.  Some have more oily skins, some have dry skins, some have a fast metabolism and others have a slow metabolism.   To a certain extent it is your different make up that will drive the exact method that will be best for your skin care.
