SETTING UP A WEBSITE FOR YOUR HOMEBASED BUSINESS

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

ARE YOU WORKING AT HOME ON THE INTERNET? DO YOU NEED YOUR OWN WEBSITE?

I have been given a website where you can go and set up your own website.  It is www.synthasite.com.   You will find this quite easy to use, and if you do not understand it, then the support is excellent.  I am not too techie, so I came across a few small problems and the back up was great.

You can get hosted with them for free, and you can do you whole set up from their instructional videos.  Try it out.

Working from home has never been easier, when you can get this sort of back up.  I always heard of people spending thousands of dollars to set up sites, and sure some of those complicated ones I am sure do cost heaps of money, but for a simple site Synthasite is just the answer.

MOTIVATING SOMEONE WITH A MENTAL ILLNESS

Monday, October 6th, 2008

THIS IS SUCH A HARD TASK, AND OFTEN A VERY FRUSTRATING ONE

So often I hear a carer say, "I just can't get XXX to do anything".  You yourself can see so many jobs that need doing that you could run yourself raggard trying to keep everything spic and span.

When my son was really ill, something that I found worked well, was to say,"if I wash these dishes, how about you come and dry them".  I found that many times it was not that he did not want to do the job, but more that the idea of completing the task was just too much to consider.  I guess, the fact that he had company whilst doing it, made a difference too.

This technique can work with washing clothes, going for a walk, shopping and other chores that a mentally ill person finds it hard to get the motivation to start.

For a lot of other positive tips for carers you could go to

WORK AT HOME AND EARN EXTRA MONEY

Monday, October 6th, 2008

EARNING EXTRA MONEY IS A PRIORITY FOR MANY PEOPLE AT THIS TIME

Here are some ideas for you to make some extra money working at home

As hard as it may be emotionally, to earn extra money, usually with a second income, it takes some committment and hard work.

It is not easy to try and earn extra money when you are already emotionally drained from tyring to pay bills when there is not enough money to go around.

I have been reading today quite a few articles about how people in America especially, and around the world generally, are finding it very difficult in these tough financial times.

Some ideas to start making money sooner rather than later, is to sell some of your things from around the house.  Ebay is a website where you can often sell something fairly early on.  If you put your product up for auction, you are setting a sell by date.  Also, you could make things to sell on Ebay.  You will need to do a bit of research here, and it has to be good quality, but it is an idea to generate some cash flow.

There are many other items too, that could be made to sell on eBay, at fairs, markets etc.

When times are very tight, it means that the extra car, or such has to be sold too.  Remember, we can always go out and buy another one once the financial situation has settled down.

Another way to earn money is at Elance, if you have any particular skills that you can offer.  Check it out.

Also, you could look at affiliate marketing, and for this check out Clickbank.com, and other affiliate sites that you could work with.  You will find some instructions on how to work this on their sites.

Remeber, though, I am sorry to say, that extra money does not come that easy.  It takes a little time to learn the processes of any of the above that I have mentioned.  So, if you are going to need to earn extra money, don't delay and learn a new skill to help you.
